*We had a fabulous vacation.* Visited: June 2007

	My family and I just came back from vacation at the Plantana. It was an dream come true vacation. The children were well entertained, too. Between the amazing clean, warm and beautiful ocean and the pool, we swam like fishes every day. Here are some places I recommend. The Lobster Pot was our family's favorite. You should plan to go during dinner time. They fed the fishes outside, and it was a wonderful, fun filled five-minute show for both adults and children. Also, my family really enjoyed the Pirate Ship Cruise. The cruise we took was at 2 p.m., and was a two hour tour. The pirates there were quite entertaining and handsome, I must add. At some point during the cruise, they stopped at a location so we could jump off the plank on the ship for a swim. I highly recommend the pirate ship. Eleven thumbs up! This was our second year in the Caymans, and it was as beautiful and relaxing as last year. I highly recommend the Plantana Condo. Their condos are like home away from home. We are all looking forward to return again next year. Take it from me, there's no other place like the Plantana.

*Plantana is a wonderful value on Seven Mile Beach!* Visited: December 2003

	We just returned from a five-night stay at Plantana on Seven Mile Beach, Nov. 28 - Dec. 3, 2003. The water was warm, about 80 degrees and just beautiful. We were in condo #10, oceanfront on the bottom floor and we had a great view of the ocean. It was the prettiest water I've ever seen. The beach in front of Plantana was wide with beautiful white sands, lots of beach chairs and towels, plenty of room for everyone during our stay. The water here had no rocks, just some coral at the water's edge like all of Seven Mile Beach. Plantana was the prefect place for the four of us. Our two teen sons walked to the Westin and rented waverunners and had a blast. Our two-bedroom, two bath condo was clean, and the furniture seemed fairly new. We had maid service daily. The bedrooms had ceiling fans and the condo had central air. There was a full kitchen and sliding doors right out to the beach. We had a screened in porch with table and chairs and a ceiling fan with a light. The weather was great, only rained for about ten minutes one day. I would stay here again and recommend it to all, it was an excellent value for the money.

*A perfect and private getaway.* Visited: July 2002

	My family and I stayed in an upstairs two-bedroom condo that had just been redecorated. The appliances were brand new and it even had a CD player with many fabulous CDs to play. It overlooked the wonderful stretch of Seven Mile Beach. We have been to many beautiful places (Hawaii; Destin, Florida; and Cancun), but by far, Grand Cayman, its beach and this condo far outranked the others. It became our favorite place on earth by the time our stay came to a close. We visited during the middle of July and the weather was cooler here than in Oklahoma while we were gone, and no rain fell until we were getting on our plane to go home. Stingray City was fabulous, but my favorite part was the great snorkeling right off Plantana's Beach. My family and I snorkeled several times per day and felt very comfortable each time. Life under the sea was unbelievable. Also, the crowds were non-existent and the island people were very friendly to us. You cannot go wrong with Plantana and I researched for many hours before picking Plantana and I was not disappointed! My husband congratulated me for picking such a gem for such a reasonable price. We will return in the near future!

*A peaceful escape.* Visited: October 2001

	When I returned from my trip, I recommended that everyone go and stay at Plantana. It was the perfect escape! You're not down in the hustle and bustle of the resorts closer to Georgetown, but plenty of things are within walking distance. Having a condo makes it easier to make your own meals, so breakfast, lunch and dinner are eaten on the large patio, just to be around the ocean air. The beach is simply wonderful, but when I schedule a return trip, please note that the hammock is mine for some afternoon naps! :-)

*Private Tropical Paradise!* Visited: June 2001

	I have stayed at Lantana twice and quite frankly I feel it's the best condo value in Grand Cayman. I have visited Cayman 11 times the past several years and stayed at the most exclusive condos on Seven Mile Beach. Plantana is not only less expensive, it really offers you a more private vacation. It's far enough north that cruise ship passengers don't find their way to your part of the beach. Many taxi drivers and tour groups drop people off at the other resorts because their beaches are so lovely. Plantana also boasts the lovely beach the other condos have, but without all the tourists. You have the choice of either 1- or 2-bedroom units, with or without oceanviews. I took my parents with me on this occasion and our 2-bedroom gardenview was lovely. There was a very nice pool area with shade trees and a lovely path to the beautiful beach from any part of the property. Plantana sits between the two most exclusive properties on Seven Mile Beach. Therefore, the beach is kept immaculate. Plantana is wonderful for couples, singles, or families who value privacy and a lovely tropical beach for their vacation. I'm already planning my return trip in December 2001. On a weather note, don't avoid Cayman in the summer, there is always a pleasant breeze, and rainy days are rare. The diving is actually better in the early summer months. Whenever you go, you will have a great time, and more than likely, you will return!

*What a relaxing vacation!* Visited: April 2001

	Going to the Caymans and taking your little ones with you? This is the place to stay. We had a great relaxing vacation staying at Plantana. Our son met other children around the pool to play with and there was always a peacfullness on the property. This property had, by far, one of the most beautiful beaches on seven mile strech. The location was good, and was also close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping.

	We have stayed at Plantana twice and will return again! Grand Cayman is so wonderful. We feel very safe, as no one approaches you on the beach to buy anything. Plantana is also far enough removed from the large hotels that you really do feel as if you have the beach all to yourself...but close enough to the Westin that if you want you can partake in some of their water sports activities by just taking a short stroll down the beach. We have found the guests and staff to be very friendly.

*A beautiful condo on a perfect stretch of 7-mile Beach* Visited: January 2000

	What a great place to stay! We stayed in #30, a 2-bedroom beachfront unit, which has a direct view from the screened-in balcony of the pool and beach. It was really relaxing to sit in the glider during the evening to watch the sunset. The condo had been recently remodeled with all new furniture. During our stay, a new refrigerator, washer/dryer, and dishwasher were delivered. The grounds were nicely landscaped with hammocks scattered about, and the new Weber kettles for grilling came in handy. A welcomed visit after a day at the beach was the daily maid service, supplying fresh towels (and beach towels) when cleaning the unit. This condo sits on a lovely stretch of 7-mile beach, with powdery sand. Enjoy!

*A clean, quiet, peaceful place to stay* Visited: January 2000

	We just got back from a fabulous trip. Our travel agent recommended Plantana and we were extremely pleased. We booked based on two of the above reviews. We did not want to be around a lot of people and Plantana was so uncrowded (beach and water)and the beachfront was fabulous-no rocks or shells, just pure soft sand and beautiful turquoise sea. It was definitely the best stretch of the 7 mile beach-close to town but not piled next to a bunch of resorts closer to town. We rented mopeds for 2 days and went all around the Island. (Driving on the left does require some concentration though.) The taxis were expensive so the Mopeds proved to be very economical and gave us a lot of freedom to see how the rest of the Island looked and to see how the natives lived. Restaurants were all good but pricey-but you're on vacation. We ate breakfast and lunch on the screened porch of #8, just feet away from the beach and water. It was perfect. Would never want to stay on a hotel property here. We found the staff friendly and accommodating and we are picky people. We will be back!
